Bruce K. McCormick, Ph.D.
Medical Psychologist
Dr. McCormick was born in Shreveport, Louisiana. He graduated from Woodlawn High School after which he attended Northeast Louisiana University (now the University of Louisiana at Monroe) where he earned Batchelor of Arts and Master of Science degrees in Psychology. He received his doctoral training at Tulane University and has completed post doctoral training in clinical psychopharmacology from The California School of Professional Psychology--Allient University. In addition to individual therapy, his psychology practice includes a strong pediatric focus, offering consultation, diagnostic testing and treatment for a wide range of school, child, adolescent, and family concerns. A graduate of the National Professional Consortium in ADD/ADHD, Dr. McCormick also provides consultation in matters of child custody and recommendations for management of children and youth with behavior problems and school learning concerns. Dr. McCormick is married and the father of three children.
